Barbie Girl Video!!!
Except for my mood boards further below showcasing celebrity’s versions of appropriation, there also the well-known & famous music video "Aqua-Barbie Girl" which is another form of appropriation…!
Background information-for those who do not know of the music video, here’s a little bit of information as to what it is about, a woman & man are basically rein acting as Ken (Barbie’s boyfriend) & Barbie, you watch their day events, the music video is all filmed in a little doll house, the lighting it quite light so give it a summer feel, use of colour is quite bright eye catching colours, the female voice used as Barbie is in a high monotone voice, the song its self is really perky & never gets old…looool
